Nobel Energy’s governing bodies are the General Meeting of Shareholders, the Board of Directors and the Chief Executive Officer, who implements the decisions of the Board of Directors and the General Meeting of Shareholders.
The Board of Directors acts in the interests of the company and its shareholders and reports to the General Meeting of Shareholders. It plays the primary role in shaping and advancing the corporate governance system, determining the company’s priorities, strategic planning, control over business management, and is responsible for informing shareholders about the way these issues are managed. National legislation, the company’s Charter and Regulations of the Board of Directors govern the Board’s activities.
Executive management run the company’s operations and acts within the powers provided by the Nobel Energy Charter. They implement the tasks set by the Board of Directors and execute the company’s development strategy by overseeing departments in such areas of activity as production and environment, finance and economics, social and legal.
